Effects of planimetric position of delamination on compressive failure of composite laminates

Delamination is the main defect form of composite laminates. The strength and stiffness laminates are greatly decreased due to delamination defects. In this paper, FE model with was established. And nonlinear post-buckling response investigated. validity verified by comparing analysis results experimental results. a detailed parametric study performed on effects planimetric position behavior Results show that buckling mode does not depend delamination; closer center, greater reduction compressive strength.
